Hutcherleigh is a small hamlet nestling near Dartmouth, in the heart of the beautiful and unspoilt countryside of Totnes in the South Hams. Spring comes early in Devon with lanes and hedgerows covered with flowers. Close by are Dartmouth, a historic naval town, Kingsbridge, a
little market town at the head of the estuary and Totnes,set above
the river Dart with many interesting buildings. All are within 15
to 20 minutes drive and offer a wealth of interesting shops, restaurants
and traditional pubs. Devon's famous clotted cream teas are a must! |

The nearest beach is close by at Slapton sands, not far from Dartmouth, and many other beauty spots are within easy reach. There are also opportunities for riding, boating, fishing, yachting and many lovely country walks are there for the taking. There is also an impressive golf course just 3-5 miles away. With the magnificent Dartmoor National Park only about 30 minutes
away by car, Honeysuckle Barn is the perfect base from which to
explore this beautiful area. |
